Jacqueline Foster MEP joined a sell-out sixth annual Cheshire and Wirral Area Conservatives' Dinner and Conference, CW18, over the weekend of Friday 9th and Saturday 10th February 2018. A strong line-up of special guests speakers included the Secretary of State for the Home Department and Minister for Women and Equalities, the Rt. Hon. Amber Rudd MP.
Commenting on the weekend of events, Jacqueline said:
"It was really wonderful to be with the Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, at the Cheshire and Wirral Conservatives' annual fundraising dinner and conference in Chester. This event, now in its sixth year, is one of the highlights of the political calendar here in the North West and I was so pleased to be able to give it my full support once again.
"With nearly 200 members, supporters and activists present, CW18 was one of the biggest Conservative Party conferences outside of the main national event anywhere in the country. It was tremendous to hear a fantastic and upbeat speech from the Home Secretary and to see the enthusiastic atmosphere amongst a sell-out room. Really brilliant!"
