North West MEP Jacqueline Foster was among the panellists taking part in a debate during the International Festival for Business, taking place in Liverpool. The debate, organised by the world-renowned Bibby Line Group, and held at the Liverpool Museum, was attended by 150 representatives from shipping , freight and logistics companies.

Foster welcomes big fall in North West unemployment

The latest big fall in the number of people out of work has been welcomed by North West Conservative MEP, Jacqueline Foster.  Since the General Election, the number of people out of work and claiming Job Seekers Allowance in the region has fallen from 191,827 (April 2010) to 149,846 (December 2013)

Foster backs Small Business Saturday

The campaign to back Britain's small businesses received a boost this week as North West MEP Jacqueline Foster joined Prime Minister David Cameron in supporting Small Business Saturday. Small Business Saturday takes place on the 7th December, one of the busiest shopping days of the year and the aim of the event is to encourage people to shop locally and support small businesses in their communities.
